"People are enchanted by the innocence and lack of preoccupation with rules in my paintings."
"I have been painting for 10 years guided by my intuition. When I begin to paint a canvas I never have planned out what I am going to do; I create by applying the colors. I define my style as naïf expressionist, a species of the primitive. I am self-taught, without any defined technique - I strive to transmit what I capture from the most beautiful things of the world. I don't suffer from the influence of any specific artist, for I feel everything we see teaches us a little. I have never found it difficult to exhibit my work - it has always been very well accepted. People are enchanted by the innocence and lack of preoccupation with rules in my paintings.
"I began exhibiting in galleries, shopping centers, inns, and hotels. In 2001 I had a restless schedule of exhibitions: at the Galeria La Pigna in the Vatican in May, at Cultural Shopping Las Condes in Chile in April, and others here in Brazil throughout the year. I attribute it all the international circulation and dedication of my good friends outside the country.
"I also work with my husband in civil construction, building and selling houses. It is an occupation that doesn't take away from the precious time of painting - my daily activity. I am a very privileged person because I have tranquility and family harmony, which is fundamental for whomsoever wants to make a good work with the visual expression of feelings. My husband is my best supporter and he accompanies me in everything."
